My name is Chris Gardner Jr. – born and raised Detroit native and self-taught photographer.

I started taking professional photos in 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic for my sister's college graduation and haven’t looked back since. With a lot of practice, studying and advice from my 2 mentors (Martez Brooks and Cyrus Tetteh), I found the quality of my work progressively growing.

 

I have always been motivated more by investing in memories than money when taking photos. Memories will always be worth more than material things, and in the end that’s all we truly have. Towards the end of 2020, I did a free photoshoot with my high school friend Joseph Riggins who was a talented artist and producer; and a few months later he passed away. I am grateful to have captured those memories today.

 

I started this business so that everyone can invest in their memories. My shooting style is your imagination… Lets bring your vision to life!
